After university until 2012, Sal worked in travel and events for a Sports Tour Operator. She worked on all Summer Olympic Games since 1996; Winter Olympics; Commonwealth Games, Rugby World Cups, Football World Cups & the London bid for 2012 Olympic Games. After the 2012 Olympics, she retrained to be a primary school teacher before finally joining Tourvest. Her expertise include Travel & Event Operations & Management, Database Management and General Management.
Her sporting achievements include the London to Paris Cycle Challenge and surviving her first ski holiday in 2019 whilst her favourite sporting destination is Sydney. On the weekends she can be found cycling, at the gym, spending time with her kids, discovering new destinations in the UK and overseas, in a restaurant or pub, with friends – definitely not sitting down and relaxing! Her favourite moment at TEAM includes introducing TEAM Sports Travel into the portfolio, she says it takes her back to her travel roots and provides diversity in the day-to-day management of the office.

Kelly started out at TAG Rugby, SA Rugby’s grassroots development programme. From there she Joined Tourvest in 2014 at the Cape Town office. Thereafter a move to the UK resulted in her joining the TEAM UK office. She studied Sports Management and Project Management that resulted in a career in the sports travel industry. Her Sporting achievements include playing hockey at high school and her favourite sporting destination is either the UK or America.
On the weekends Kelly enjoys walking, catching up with friends or watching rugby. At the TEAM office she believes there is a good working environment where there is always something making them laugh.
Kelly LyttleOperations Manager
Jeffrey spent a few stints as PE coach and house tutor at a couple of public schools, he then decided to move into the group sports travel trade and started working for Team Sports Travel from 2009, which is where he is today. Having studied a degree in Business Management and Marketing, his expertise include sales and marketing. His sporting achievements include playing provincial hockey from junior to senior level. He currently plays for the men’s 1’s at St Albans HC who have recently been promoted to the National League. Greatest sporting achievement would be winning the Western Province Grand Challenge Hockey league in Cape Town in 2006 with the mighty Pinelands Hockey Club side.
As a hockey player, Jeffrey admits that his favourite sporting destination has to be Holland. On the weekends he enjoys spending time with family at a national trust park, playing golf and having a braai with his mates. One of his favourite moments at TEAM includes travelling with a group to New Zealand during the 2011 Rugby World Cup and watching the All Blacks beat Australia at Eden Park.

Violeta has worked at a Destination Management Company with focus in incentive/corporate groups and events that complements her expertise in tourism management. She has a passion for coaching and says that her favourite sporting destination is Spain because the heart calls and besides great sporting facilities, the weather and food are unbeatable!
On the weekends Violeta can be found in the park or at the swimming pool with her son depending on the weather. At TEAM her favourite moment was when the first quote she did materialised and the travel team had a great time.
